People always ask, what is there to do on campus? The question should be, what isn't there to do? With over 250 clubs, greek organizations and teams on campus, you'll surely find something you're interested in. If for some reason you can't find the right club, you have the power to create your own. And if all of these options aren't keeping your social calendar full, the Office of Student Life hosts weekly events as well.

At Clarkson, we want to be your home away from home. The majority of our undergraduate students live and dine right on campus. With many options for living styles and cuisine preferences, we do our best to create a warm and welcoming environment where you can focus on the more important aspects of your college experience, like academics, hands-on experiences and extracurricular fun.

Some of the best experiences our undergraduate students have while at Clarkson, aren't actually at Clarkson - internships, co-ops and studying abroad. Professional experiences are critical to your success, so we strive to create as many opportunities for you as you want to have. Staff from our International Center and award-winning Career Center are here to help you find the right experiences for you.

Our entire campus is a place where innovation and entrepreneurship are a way of life. Clarkson Ignite is a call to action and constant reminder to our students that innovation drives everything. Under the umbrella of Ignite is the President's Challenge, an competition where our students can form teams and compete to solve a specific campus-wide, regional or global issue each year.

Our location creates unique opportunities for our students, from traveling just north to metropolitan Canadian cities like Ottawa and Montreal, to heading south for the Adirondack Mountains to enjoy some of the best outdoor recreation in the country, to staying put and taking advantage of all the activities we offer on campus and within our quaint community of Potsdam.

Our students health and safety is of the utmost importance. We pride ourselves on the high level of safety and care our students feel while being on campus.

The Clarkson community embraces all forms of diversity on our campus. We also believe it is essential for our students, faculty and staff members to be global citizens. Through a variety of offices and staff, we strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment.

Clarkson has been consistently named one of the top military friendly schools in the country by Military Advanced Education & Transition's Guide to Colleges and Universities. We offer both Army and Air Force ROTC programs.
